a short film created in collaboration with Ashley Alonso for an experimental narrative class. Built around improvisation, the film began with a simple prompt: show up at a basketball court and film a pickup game. From the footage captured, a narrative emerged—one that prioritizes characterization over character arcs. The project embraces an experimental approach, allowing the story to take shape organically through the material gathered.
